The National Transportation Safety Board released an extended transcript of the cockpit voice recorder from Colgan Air Fight 3407 that crashed in Clarence City, N.Y. Feb. 12.
The copilot on the flight was Rebecca Shaw, a Maple Valley resident who graduated from Tahoma High.

The Okanogan County Prosecuting Attorney Karl Sloan filed murder charges in the county Superior Court against Kino Michael Gomez for the shooting death of Black Diamond resident Thomas Pfaeffle.
The shooting occurred at 10:41 July 17 at the Blue Spruce Motel in Twisp, Wash.

An award-winning Seattle city engineer is facing possible charges of second-degree murder and reckless endangerment in the Friday night, July 17, shooting death of Tom Pfaeffle from Black Diamond.
Kino Michael Gomez, 57, of Seattle, appeared in court Monday after being arrested for fatally shooting Pfaeffle, 49, of Black Diamond.
The men, who were staying next door to each other at Blue Spruce Motel, 1321 N. Methow Valley Highway, did not apparently know each other, police said.

Kino Gomez was charged with the shooting death of Thomas Pfaeffle, a Black Diamond resident, in Okanogon County Superior Court.

The 57-year-old Gomez from the Seattle area, was charged with second-degree murder and reckless endangerment. His bail has been set at $100,000.
