VANDALISM: 27000 block of 174th Place Southeast. Someone vandalized the front door and cars parked at Kindercare by scrawling on them with a paint pen.

July 19

MMMM, BEER: 17000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A trio entered Safeway, grabbed a shopping cart, filled with 12 and 18 packs of beer, then left without paying for the alcohol.

July 18

DETAILS, DETAILS: Southeast 272nd Street and 189th Avenue Southeast. A driver was stopped for expired tabs but also had a suspended license, a misdemeanor warrant and a pair of felony warrants out for their arrest.

NOBODY’S HOME: 20100 block of Southeast 262nd Street. Someone entered a vacant house through an open window and used the kitchen.

July 17

DEAL GONE BAD: 26900 block of 171st Avenue Southeast. A person got into a fist fight with his drug deal after the transaction went bad in the parking lot of the Adagio apartment complex.

July 16

SWITCHEROO: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A shoplifter at Walmart swapped out expensive items into boxes for less expensive items then attempted to purchase the merchandise.

IDENTIFY THEFT: 24500 block of 188th Avenue Southeast. A man used his son’s name and social security number to open utility accounts then defaulted on the accounts.

THREATS: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Someone called Fred Meyer and left a bomb threat on a store voice mail box.

July 9

SHOPLIFTERS: 27500 block of Covington Way. A man and a woman stole clothes from Costco then fled when confronted by the store’s loss prevention staff.

GET IN GEAR: 27200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. A patron at the Chevron gas station near Sawyer Village leaned into a Corvette convertible and forcibly tried to move the gear shift causing damage to the car.

July 17

SUSPENDED LICENSE: 21800 block of Southeast Wax Road. A motorist was stopped for a traffic violation when it was discovered that he had a suspended license. In addition, the officer found a number of oxycontin pills beneath the passenger seat of the car.

FAKE FIFTIES: 26900 block of State Route 169. Someone used counterfeit $50 bills at the Safeway gas station.

July 14

SIGNS GONE: Southeast 240th Way and 231st Avenue Southeast. A pair of signs went missing from the community park sport court and gazebo in the Valley Green III neighborhood. It appears that someone stole the ‘No Trespassing’ and ‘Park Closed At Night’ signs from the park.

RECKLESS BEHAVIOR: 26200 block of 222nd Place Southeast. A woman reported she thought someone had shot at her with a BB gun in the Cherokee Bay neighborhood.
