Parents in South King County are invited to attend a free parent forum hosted by the Road Map project at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Foster High School in Tukwila.
The Road Map Project is offering the forum in support of its goal to help strengthen family and school connections for student success.
At the forum, parents will learn how to more effectively advocate for their child, have meaningful dialogues with teachers and principals, better understand how the school system works and learn about high school and college requirements.
The family friendly event will include hands-on activities and prizes from Radio Disney and a resource fair with Microsoft, iLabs, The Dream Project and others.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided and free childcare is also available on request to those who register in advance.
