Voter registration deadline on Monday for April 23 Special Election

Citizens have until Monday, March 25 to register to vote or update their voter registration for the April 23 Special Election.
The City of Milton and five fire districts in King County from Bothell to Maple Valley are participating in this election, representing just slightly more than 100,000 currently registered eligible voters.
Those who are not currently registered to vote in Washington State may do so up until April 15, but if they wait until after March 25 they must register in-person at King County Elections headquarters at 919 SW Grady Way, Renton, or the Voter Registration Annex, 500 4th Avenue, Room 311, in downtown Seattle.
King County Elections is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Annex is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Details, registration forms and links to online registration are available on the King County Elections website.The “My Voter Guide” online tool allows voters to view their voter registration information and a list of measures that will appear on their ballot. Residents also can call the Voter Hotline on weekdays, 206-296-VOTE (8683).
Voter registration applications and updates submitted after voter registration deadlines will take effect after the April 23 election. Voters who miss the deadlines to update their registration should contact the Elections office at 206-296-VOTE (8683).
Voter registration forms are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Cambodian, Korean, Laotian, Russian, and Vietnamese.
