The Tahoma and Kentwood girls soccer teams will be playing for a shot at the state championship title in semifinal games tonight, Nov. 19.
Tahoma takes on the reigning state champions, Skyline, 6 p.m. at Harry Lang Stadium in Lakewood.
Kentwood lines up against Skyview 8 p.m. at Harry Lang.
The winner plays for the state title at 4 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 20.

Dawson, who was coaching boys and girls high school swimming in Corbett, Oregon, last year, has taken over the Falcons boys swim and dive team this season after Diana Ekstrom decided not to return for a second season at the helm.

The Tahoma girls soccer team fired its way through the quarterfinal round of the 4A state championship Saturday beating Lake Stevens 2-0.
The girls used their remarkable speed and ball control to rain down a hail of shots on the Lake Stevens goal, particularly in the second half.

The undefeated Kentwood Conquerors host Bothel in the first round of the 4A state football championship.
Kentwood comes into the game with an 8-0 South Puget Sound League, North Division record and 10-0 overall.
Bothel has a 5-0 KingCo record and 8-2 overall.

The Tahoma girls won a 2-1 double overtime victory over Kentlake Wednesday in the first round of the state championship tournament, which moves them into the quarterfinal round against Lake Stevens Saturday.
Kentwood split its matches at the West Central District 4A volleyball tournament Nov. 5 and Saturday, but punched its ticket to the state tournament.
In the first match Kentwood started the tournament with a dominating performance in a three game sweep over Emerald Ridge, 25-15, 25-12, 25-15.

The Bears completed the season with a 2-6 South Puget Sound League North Division record and 3-7 overall.
The young team played well all season but at times ran up against teams with more depth and experience.
