The Tahoma Bears closed the football season with a 35-14 road loss to Federal Way Nov. 5. The Bears completed the season with a 2-6 South Puget Sound League North Division record and 3-7 overall. The young team played well all season but at times ran up against teams with more depth and experience.

One of the highlight games of the year was the 31-27 loss to Auburn.

The Bears took the then undefeated Trojans down to the wire, losing in the closing ticks of the game.

Another memorable game was the Bears 36-34 victory over Kentridge Oct. 22 at French Field. Tahoma won the game on a 47-yard field goal from kicker David Stoecker.

Against Federal Way Nov. 5, running back Niko Madison scored both touchdowns. The first in the third quarter on a 2-yard dash into the end zone and the second in the fourth on a 1-yard run.

Stoecker kicked the extra point for each.
