Fred Meyer to break ground in Four Corners in Maple Valley

The city of Maple Valley announced a ground breaking ceremony is planned for the Maple Valley Town Square project, which is anchored by Fred Meyer.

The city of Maple Valley announced a ground breaking ceremony is planned for the  Maple Valley Town Square project, which is anchored by Fred Meyer.

The event for the 240,000 square foot project is planned for 6 p.m. Thursday, April 14 at the Northeast corner of Maple Valley Highway and Kent Kangley.

The public is invited to join the City Council along with the Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce, Fred Meyer, TRM Wood Prodcuts, MultiCare and Powell Development.

According to Seattle Pacific Realty’s Elizabeth Best, who is marketing the space in the $45 million dollar project, two-thirds of the space outside of the Fred Meyer store has been leased.

Fred Meyer is planning to open in February 2012.
