The Dark Hollow Haunted Forest will be open for your scaring pleasures Oct. 19-20 and 25-27 Royal Arch Park.

The park is located at 20821 Renton Maple Valley Highway Southeast.

The park will be open 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 7-11 p,.m. Fridays  Saturdays

The family walk, with more lights, less Frights will be 5-6 p.m. Saturdays

It is $15for general admission and $5 for family walk admission. Children under 10 not recommended for regular frights. Cash, debit or credit accepted.

Three dollars off tickets with nonperishable donation for the Maple Valley and Black Diamond Food Banks

There is field parking and overflow parking on-site.

Parking and event security is provided by members of the Kent Police Explorers.

Dark Hollow Haunted Forest is an outdoor haunted attraction during the popular Halloween season. This theatrical production is designed to scare and entertain guests. Concessions are available on site. While waiting in line, guests enjoy classic horror movie clips and original films at the retrothemed “Blue Moonlight Drive-In.” Parking is free. Security staff, in conjunction with the Kent Police Department, monitor the trail. For younger children and those more “tender” at heart, there is the less-scary family walk.

The event is hosted and produced by the Royal Arch Park. Proceeds benefit local youth groups including the local Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, DeMolay and the DeMolay Sorority, Rainbow for Girls, Job’s Daughters, Scouting Explorer and Venture crews, Tahoma High School’s Bear Metal Robotics, and a variety of other youth and sporting groups.

This event is designed and directed by Valour Designs, a haunted attraction and media creative team led by Tavares since 1998. This is the event’s fifth season.
