Maple Valley Idol, Jr.

The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council invites everyone to cheer on local, young singers to see who will become the next Maple Valley Idol, Jr.  The event will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, June 5 at the Tahoma Middle School Theatre.

The singers have all auditioned before judges and were selected to compete in the finals. The finalists are Addy Bakken, Amanda Ades, Annalise Wooster, Benicio Bryant, Cameran Larsen, Grace Lindell, Lexie Love, Lucia Wiseman-Flores, Natalie Nordell, Sophia Heinz and Summer Woods and Victoria Evans. They are a very talented group of finalists.  Any one of them could be the eventual winner of the title.  They will perform before a panel of judges who will select the top three winners.  The audience will all be asked to judge their favorite from the finalists for the People’s Choice award.  Audience participation will be very important in the judging.  Audience ballots will be one per person at a suggested donation of $5.

All four winners will receive cash awards, ride in the Maple Valley Days parade, perform at the Maple Valley Days Arts Festival and have opportunities to perform at other events throughout the year.

This will be a very entertaining evening and a chance to support young singers. Local singer and voice teacher, Jessica Jumper, will be the emcee.
