A group of homeowners have raised questions directed at the Timberlane Home Association board members concerning money spent on a lawsuit against two homeowners, Mark Bews and Brandon Drake. The suit is over six trees the two cut down in 2007 that are alleged to have been located on the association’s property.

The council is in the process of considering zoning and design standards in the downtown area, which included a request from Lakeside Industries, based in Issaquah, to allow construction of an asphalt plant. Lakeside had proposed to build an asphalt plant across Covington Way near Costco in the downtown area.
Cecil Douglas Walker has been charged by the King County Prosecutor with murder in the first degree, domestic violence, for the Aug. 27 stabbing death of his 86-year-old mother.
