If you love a parade, downtown Covington is the place to be this Saturday.

The Covington Days parade, a centerpiece of the community festival, will start at 11 a.m. Here’s the route: Start at Southeast 271st Street and 168th Place Southeast, head east to the MultiCare clinic at 17700 Southeast 272nd Street.

Most of the free, three-day festival – Friday through Sunday – will be staged on the clinic grounds. Live music and other entertainment for all ages, vendor and information booths throughout the weekend, and a community picnic are on tap. A complete schedule is available at www.ci.covington.wa.us.
