The Greater Maple Valley/Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce Fishing Derby drew large crowds of fishermen of all ages despite the rain, which at times was quite heavy.

The weather did not dampen the spirits of the crowd as the children of all ages and adults enjoyed the opening day of fishing season at the annual community event.
