Highland Greens neighborhood in Maple Valley celebrates fourth annual National Night Out event

The Highland Greens Homeowners Association (HOA) celebrated its fourth annual National Night Out on Tuesday.

Neighbors used it as an opportunity to build better relations and generate awareness about crime and safety issues in Maple Valley in their neighborhood.

They were joined by Maple Valley Police officers and Junior Explorers, who participated four square with the neighborhood kids.

“It is about keeping our local neighborhoods and cities safe and free of crime and drugs,” said HOA Public Safety Co-Chairwoman Lori Ripley. “We are grateful to have such a strong police and community partnership. Everyone cares about Maple Valley and the safety and security of its residents.”
