All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

VANDALISM

• On June 12 officers contacted the subject who was caught vandalizing a picnic table at Lake Wilderness Park. The police report stated they were carving the letter “A” into the table. The subject was charged with third degree malicious mischief.

• On June 18 officers responded to reports that the mirror of a vehicle was broken and the side of the car was scratched while it sat parked outside the Covington MultiCare.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• On June 14 officers stopped a vehicle for speeding and improper lane change near Wax Road and state Route 169. Once officers made contact with the driver, they arrested them for driving under the influence.
