Metro’s fall service revisionsincluding the elimination of 26 bus routes

Metro’s fall service revisions – including the elimination of 26 bus routes and service revisions to at least 30 others – take effect Saturday, Sept. 27.

 

Discontinued bus routes

Routes 19, 47, 61, 62, 139, 152, 161, 173, 202, 203, 205, 209, 210, 211, 213, 215, 243, 250, 260, 265, 280 Night Owl, 306, DART 909, DART 919, DART 927 and DART 935, as well as express service on routes 7 and 48, are discontinued.

Revised service

Bus service with revisions to routing, stops or schedules include Metro routes 7, 24, 27, 30, 33, 48, 49, 122, 167, 178, 204, 200, 201, 204, 208, 212, 236, 238, 242, 244, 249, 312, 252, 255, 257, 268, 271, 311, 312, 331, 891, 892, DART 903, DART 931, 982 and 986, and Sound Transit Regional Express routes 522, 540, 542, 545, 555 ad 556.

 

Metro encourages riders to review and revise their Transit Alert subscriptions as necessary.

 

Holidays

On Veterans Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and Martin Luther King Jr Day, Metro will operate a reduced Weekday schedule with ‘When no UW’ trip reductions.

 

On Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, Metro will operate a Sunday schedule.
