There were smiles and fish were at Lake Wilderness Park for the Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce fishing derby.

There were smiles and fish were at Lake Wilderness Park for the Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce fishing derby.

The annual Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce Fishing Derby drew a large crowd of eager kids looking to catch a whopper.

Although it rained over the night, the weather cleared as the morning fishing swung into full force.

The annual event at Lake Wilderness Park brings out the kids and their parents for opening day of fishing season.

Breakfast was served by the Maple Valley Rotary Club members and friends.
