Monday, February 29

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

–Councilmembers will recognize the “Blessing of the Fleet” of the Washington state commercial fishing fleet

–Councilmembers will proclaim February 29 to March 4 as “Soup Ladies of Black Diamond Week” in King County

 

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

  • An ordinance authorizing the Executive to execute and take actions necessary to implement a new lease for the Department of Public Health to provide continuing dental health services in King County (Substitute Ordinance 2016-0013.2).
  • An ordinance adopting the revision of voting precincts of King County for the year 2016 (Ordinance 2016-0122).
  • An ordinance relating to soliciting and accepting gifts, bequests and donations for Department of Public Health purposes (Ordinance 2016-0122).

  • A motion relating to the King County Metro Transit Strategic Plan for Public Transportation 2011‑2021 and King County Metro Transit Service Guidelines and accepting the King County Metro Transit 2015 Service Guidelines Report (Motion 2015-0473).

  • An ordinance authorizing the executive to enter into an interlocal cooperation agreement with the city of Seattle, A Regional Coalition for Housing for the Eastside of King County, which may also include either or both Snohomish county and Pierce county, to invest and participate in a transit‑oriented regional equitable development initiative fund (Ordinance 2016-0107).
