Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.
Council members will proclaim October 2015 as Filipino American History Month in King County.
Council members will declare the week of October 5‑11, 2015 Search and Rescue Volunteer Recognition Week in King County
Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:
- A motion accepting response to the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17941, Section 75, Proviso P2, related to emergency medical services, concerning the establishment of criteria, protocols and procedures to allocate the basic life support core service reserve funding; and authorizing the release of $1,500,000 currently held in reserve (Motion 2015-0244).
Tuesday, October 6
Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.
Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
• A motion relating to the treatment of juveniles for transit violations (Motion 2015-0256).
Briefings:
- An ordinance authorizing the executive to execute an agreement between King County and Sound Transit for ST Express bus service operations and maintenance (Ordinance 2015-0381).
- Report on Recommendations of Women’s Advisory Board (Briefing No. 2015-B0144).
- An ordinance approving public transportation service changes to integrate with the Link light rail extension to Capitol Hill and the University of Washington (Ordinance 2015-0350).
Health, Housing and Human Services Committee – 1:30 p.m.
Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
- A motion accepting the annual progress report on the implementation of the King County veterans and human services levy service improvement plan (Motion 2015-0245).
- A motion acknowledging receipt of a report recognizing full implementation of Recommendation #5 of the September 11, 2013, performance audit of environmental health services, and approving an action plan for improving the operational infrastructure of environmental health services in order to lower permit costs and encourage vendor participation while maintaining food safety (Motion 2015-0378).

Discussion Only:
- An ordinance approving public transportation service changes for March 2016 that include countywide service changes and the extension of RapidRide C and D Lines funded by the city of Seattle through the transit service funding agreement with King County (Ordinance 2015-0349).
- An ordinance approving public transportation service changes to integrate with the Link light rail extension to Capitol Hill and the University of Washington (Ordinance 2015-0350).
The Committee will hear public testimony on both of the ordinances.
