Police respond to arson attempt at Cedar Valley Elementary | Covington & Maple Valley Police Blotter

All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

BURGLARY

On April 9 around 11:30 p.m. officers responded to the report that a neighbor heard the alarm go off on a nearby church shed. According to the report, the alarm company also contacted the reporting party. The reporting party went over and found the lock had been pried off and damaged. The report stated it appeared the subjects broke the lock and were attempting to take a power cord.

ARSON

At 6:21 p.m. on April 10 officers responded to an arson attempt at Cedar Valley Elementary School.
