Firefighters put out abandoned home fire | Kent Regional Fire Authority

At 10:45 p.m. crews from the Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority, were dispatched to a residential fire in the 400 block of Alder Lane. Multiple Kent units, King County Medic One, and the Zone 3 Rehab unit responded to this call. The building was known to have been abandoned.

On their arrival, the first crews found flames through the roof of the structure. Initial firefighting efforts were limited to the outside of the structure. There were no injuries to either firefighters or civilians reported.

Currently, there is neither cause determined nor a damage estimate available.
