Maple Valley – City Council candidates debate night | Slide Show

The Maple Valley City Council candidates spent about 90 minutes fielding questions, asking each other questions and asking for votes at the Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce and The Reporter debate.

The event took place Sept. 29 at Rock Creek Elementary.

Two seats are contested, Bill Woodcock and Sean Kelley are vying for an open seat.

Karen Crowe is challenging Mayor Noel Gerken.

Councilman Layne Barnes and Councilwoman Linda Johnson are not facing a challenge for their seats this election.
