Lari Kaapana and her twin sons – Donovan (left) and Derek – found the sand to their liking during some playtime last month at Lake Wilderness. The weather wasn’t nearly as hot as the 80-degree days that forecasters were predicting for this weekend. Maybe the lingering winterlike conditions are slowly coming to an end.
