The Tahoma boys swim team hosted Kent-Meridian Jan. 7 and the Bears continued to show their strength in the water.

Nick Castagna picked up two wins at the meet for the Bears, taking the 50-yard freestyle in 25.26 seconds and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:09.60.

Stephen Shin won the 100 butterfly in 56.20.

Mitch Halbert took the 100-yard freestyle in 57.59.

In the 200 freestyle Kyle Holmes won with a time of 2:16.83.

Cort Hammond won the 500-yard freestyle in 6:35.81.

Tahoma won both relay events, taking the 200-yard medley in 1:55.11 and the 400 freestyle relay in 3:56.60.
