Brian Perkins, 24, a Kenlake High grad who grew up in Black Diamond will be racing a 3,000 horsepower unlimited hydroplane in the Chevrolet Cup this weekend.
Perkins began racing when he was 15 after growing up around racing. He is running the Albert Lee sponsored Miss Lakeside Paving at Seafair. He’s one of several drivers from the Southeast King County area that will be competing in the Chevrolet Cup.
