Kentlake High School’s Erica Little, cheerleader was selected as the Covington Maple Valley Reporter’s Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 4.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Band — I feel like it has become my other family.

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: I love participating in KL Pep Band and Jazz Band, I am also a part of American Sign Language and I enjoy going on family trips.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Other than my family who is always pushing me to be the best person, I would say my coaches this year and in past years. I always look forward to practice and leaving a better person than when I walked in.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: I always listen to music while getting ready. As far as post-game, I like going to dinner with my friends.
