The final games of the 2015 regular season were played Friday.

The Tahoma Bears and Kentwood Conquerors added wins to their record and the Kentlake Falcons fell to Thomas Jefferson.

Kentlake

The Falcons traveled to Federal Way Friday to face the Thomas Jefferson Raiders in a crossover playoff game.

Kentlake lost 36-14 falling to 4-4 on the season and 2-2 in league.

Thomas Jefferson got off to an early start scoring a field goal and touchdown in the first quarter.

The Raiders were up 9-0 after an unsuccessful point after.

Kentlake scored seven on a 3 yard quarterback keeper by senior Cody Faulkner.

Entering the half, the Falcons trailed by two, 9-7.

Coming out of halftime, the third quarter went scoreless until less than two minutes remaining.

Faulkner’s 3 yard pass to senior receiver Austin McBryde was good for six.

Kentlake took the lead into the final quarter, 14-9.

But the Falcons couldn’t hold onto the lead.

Defense allowed the Raiders to score four touchdowns in the final 12 minutes of play.

Despite the loss, Kentlake’s season isn’t over.

The Falcons are scheduled to play a 4A district game either today, Friday, or Saturday, Nov. 7.

At the time of press, the opponent and date of the game have yet to be determined.

However, the game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff at French Field.

Tahoma

The Bears improved to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in league play.

Tahoma hosted the Federal Way Eagles Friday and won 26-22.

Senior quarterback Amandre Williams and the Bears got off to an early start scoring a touchdown off a 19 yard pass to junior receiver Aidan Harmon.

Federal Way took the lead in the second quarter with a touchdown and a successful two point conversion.

Tahoma answered with a 1 yard run by junior running back Dylan Stewart.

Up 14-8 over the Eagles, the Bears scored again on an 11 yard pass from Williams to Harmon.

The Bears went for two but were unable to convert.

Entering the half, Tahoma led 20-8.

Federal Way opened the second half with a touchdown pass and unsuccessful point after.

Williams’ pass to senior receiver Austin Brown for 64 yards was good for 6.

The Bears were unable to convert another two point conversion.

Tahoma led 26-14.

The Eagles scored another eight in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough.

The Bears won by four.

Tahoma’s season continues Friday when the Bears travel to Lake Stevens High School for a districts playoff game at 7 p.m.

Kentwood

The Conks hosted Todd Beamer Friday and shut out the Titans 14-0.

Kentwood finished the season 4-1 in league play and 7-2 overall.

Kentwood is scheduled to host Woodinville at 7 p.m. today, Friday, at French Field.
