• Accomplishment: Gould has been one of the top performers all year for the Kentlake team. Last week, she took third in the all-around and second on her floor routine, helping the Falcons upend Emerald Ridge and Auburn Mountainview.
• Favorite class: Spanish.
• Favorite movie: The Italian Job.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my friends over to make pizzas because we love to hang out and eat pizza.
• Also noted: Gould also is involved with the Kent Police Youth Board and loves to go skiing.
JOHN BUBAN
Tahoma
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Wrestling.
• Accomplishment: Buban delivered the win of the night for the Bears last week against rival Kentwood. The senior wrestler came back from a 6-3 deficit to upend KW’s Cody Quinn, 9-7, and help Tahoma take home the dual meet win 37-27.
• Favorite class: Marine Biology.
• Favorite movie: The Big Lebowski.
• Most recent book read/author: “Curious George Rides a Bike” by H.A. Rey.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Gandhi. The I wouldn’t have to worry about what to serve.
• Also noted: Buban also is a drummer in the Jazz Band and will be going to Western Washington University next year to study Marine Biology.
LIZ MILLS
Kentwood
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Basketball.
• Accomplishment: Mills scored a season-high 16 points last week, leading the Conquerors past Kent-Meridian, 85-32.
• Favorite class: English.
• Favorite movie: The Notebook.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Michael Jordan because he is a basketball legend and we would eat pasta because it’s my favorite food.
BRONA NIENOW
Kentlake
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Basketball.
• Accomplishment: Nienow helped lift the Falcons past Kent-Meridian last week, scoring 23 points in a 75-62 victory.
• Favorite movie: Step Brothers.
• Favorite class: Ceramics.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Chris Brown. And we would go to Applebee’s after 9 p.m. for half-off appetizers.
