The right lane of westbound State Route 18, just south of Covington, was closed for more than two hours Wednesday night because of a one-car accident on an exit to 304th Street.

The state Department of Transportation reported the off-ramp was closed after a car went over the embankment. The closure lasted from just before 7:30 to 11 p.m.
