The Seattle Thunderbirds scored a season high five goals in the second period, two eight seconds apart, to defeat the Portland Winterhawks 6-3 in front of 4,538 at ShoWare Center in Kent on Saturday.

Burke Gallimore assisted Chance lund to score in the 14:18 minute to put in this fifth goal of the year. Gallimore had the final empty net goal to seal the win.
