Kick-A-Thon will raise money and food donations for Maple Valley Food Bank

Students from Pacific Martial Arts Academy will learn the meaning of character as they participate in a Kick-A-Thon fundraiser at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Lake Wilderness Lodge in Maple Valley.

The goal for the 90 minute Kick-A-Thon is 20,000 kicks, according to instructor John Robinson with proceeds to benefit the Maple Valley Food Bank.

The food bank needs support more often than just during the holidays so with that spirit the community is invited to get involved.

Please stop by and donate, participate or just observe and cheer these young students on in their quest to raise $1,000 in a combination of canned goods and money donations.

This event is supported by students in the Youth and Adult Karate classes offered through the city of Maple Valley Parks & Recreation.
