CAR BREAK IN: 25900 block of 185th Place Southeast. Someone stole the stereo and quarters from the victim’s car which was parked on the shoulder of the road.

March 13

THREATS: 26700 block of 171st Place Southeast. A man called his estranged wife at her apartment and threatened to assault her.

PALLETS APLENTY: 27000 block of 185th Avenue Southeast. After locking up the Home Depot store, an employee noticed a blue Ford Ranger behind the business, so the employee went to check it out from a distance since there was no reason anybody should be back there at that time. He observed two other pick up trucks into which six or seven teenage boys were loading 3 foot by 3 foot wooden pallets into the trucks. When the boys noticed the employee they jumped into the vehicles and sped off westbound on Southeast 272nd Street toward Kent.

JOY RIDE: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. Driver was caught careening recklessly through the Walmart parking lot while high on methamphetamine. The motorist was also in possession of meth.

March 11

OFF THE HOOK: 19400 block of Southeast 266th Street. After kicking in the door of a home and burglarizing it, the suspect confesses to his crime, but the victim chose not to prosecute.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: 26300 block of 187th Court Southeast. Neighbors report that they suspect someone is selling oxycontin and other drugs in their neighborhood.

EMPTY BOXES: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. Security employees at Walmart were advised that some empty computer boxes were found in the store’s mens department. Employees suspect someone removed the computers from the boxes and left the store without paying for them.

GRAFFITI: 18400 block of Southeast 264th Street. Someone spray painted a fallen tree in two spots with the letters “KKK” in orange and black paint at Jenkins Creek Park.

VANDALISM: 23200 block of Maple Valley Highway. A man jumped onto the hood of a car parked in the McDonald’s lot and smashed the vehicle’s windshield.

March 10

STOLEN GUN: 21800 block of Southeast 271st Street. Someone broke the passenger side window of a truck’s extended cab and stole a Kimber .45 caliber handgun loaded with seven rounds.

March 8

ANGRY CHILD: 21800 block of Southeast Wax Road. A boy threatened to slash the tires on his mother’s vehicle. He grabbed a steak knife, walked out of their apartment and headed for the car.
