The girls tennis season is roughly halfway complete and the Kentwood Conquerors are leading the South Puget Sound League 4A North Division with a 5-1 league record.

The Conks are 7-1 overall on the year with its only loss coming earlier this month, 5-1, to Bellarmine Prep.

Kentwood beat the Todd Beamer Titans Monday 3-2.

Kentwood plays 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 27 at Kentridge.

The Chargers are second in the SPSL 4A North.

Tahoma

Sitting in fifth place of the North division is the Tahoma Bears.

The Bears are 1-4 in league play and 1-7 overall.

Tahoma’s only win of the season came in late March against Kentlake.

The Bears won the match 3-2.

The last game Tahoma played was a 3-2 loss to Kent-Meridian.

The next home game for the Bears is 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 27 when Tahoma hosts the Kentlake Falcons.

Kentlake

The Falcons are in last place in the SPSL 4A North with a winless record.

Kentlake is 0-4 in league play and 0-5 overall.

The Falcons last faced off against the Conks in a SPSL 4A North showdown.

Kentlake lost 5-0 to the league leading Conks.

Tuesday and Thursday matches scheduled for the Falcons were played after the press deadline.

Results from the matches against Kentridge Tuesday and Kent-Meridian Thursday can be found online when they become available.

The next game for the Falcons is Monday when the team travels to Tahoma to face the Bears.
