The Kentwood Conks baseball team won its way into the state tournament Tuesday. The Conks beat Rogers of Puyallup 4-0 in the first round of the districts tournament.

The Kentwood Conks baseball team won its way into the state tournament Tuesday.

The Conks beat Rogers of Puyallup 4-0 in the first round of the districts tournament.

The win advanced Kentwood to the districts semifinals scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 at Art Wright Field.

Kentwood will face South Kitsap.

Regardless of Saturday’s outcome, the Conks have secured its spot in the state tournament.

The Conks ended the regular season with a perfect 12-0 league record and currently have a 20-3 overall record.
