John Mitchell Fader

John Mitchell “Mitch” Fader was born on November 16, 1971, in Anaheim, California. After a sudden illness, he passed away on February 10, 2010, in Orange, California from complications of cancer. Although his time with us was too brief, in his 38 years, Mitch enjoyed a lot of living over the span of his beautiful life. From his journeys to Kwajalein; Brussels, Belgium; Kent, WA; Aurora, CO; and South Korea, he traveled the world via baseball and his “love for the game”, skiing his way from WA to CO, to teaching English in South Korea. Mitch attended the International School of Brussels, “ISB” from 1981 to 1988, graduated from Kentwood High School in 1990, and went on to graduate in 1995 from Washington State University with a BA in Communications. Mitch lived a life of youthful optimism, courage, and fierce loyalty to his family and friends. He was our “Gentle Giant”, stoic and loving.Mitch is survived by his parents, John and Mary Lynn Fader, sister LynnDee Fader, nephew Tyler, and fiancé Stephanie Africano.
