Unknown suspect forces their way into the Covington Animal Hospital|Police Blotter

LARCENY

• On Sept. 29 it was reported an unknown suspect had reportedly stolen a package from a community mailbox.

• On Oct. 2 it was reported loose change was stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

• An unlocked vehicle was reportedly entered on Oct. 2 and a garage door opener was taken.

• On Oct. 2 officers responded to Kohl’s because of reports a female subject had taken items by concealing them in her bag. The police report stated she was arrested across the street.

BURGLARY

• On Sept. 30 it was reported an unknown subject forced their way into the Covington Animal Hospital after hours.

• Officers responded Oct. 2 to reports of a burglary at a marijuana store. The police report stated the unknown suspects had reportedly thrown a large rock through the front door to gain entry. Once they were inside, the report added, the suspects kicked in the door leading to the office area.

TRESPASS

• A suspect was caught Sept. 30 for trespassing in Fred Meyer. The police report stated they were cited and released.

• On Oct. 4 a subject had reportedly shoplifted from Safeway before passing out behind the wheel of her vehicle in the Safeway parking lot.

LARCENY

• On Oct. 1 officers responded to reports that a suspect entered a convenience store, went behind the counter and took a number of items. The police report stated the clerk recovered seven cigarette cartons. The report added the clerk noticed their cell phone was missing from behind the counter.

• On Oct. 3 it was reported that an unknown female subject entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a Nintendo Game Boy and a garage door opener.

VANDALISM

• On Oct. 2 unknown suspects reportedly spray painted on a wall at Kentwood High School.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

• On Oct. 2 it was reported to officers that a female suspect revealed herself from her balcony overlooking Covington Elementary School. The police report stated a teacher saw her but no students. This report was taken for information only.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On Oct. 2 it was reported to officers that the reporting party believed she had been recorded while she was shopping at the Maple Valley Fred Meyer.

THEFT

• On Oct. 3 officers were contacted by the reporting party to report her motorcycle had been stolen from her son’s former residence. The police report stated they were there to clean up the property and later discovered her motorcycle was missing.

NEIGHBOR DISPUTE

• On Oct. 3 officers responded to reports of “rude comments” spray painted on the reporting party’s driveway by a known person. The police report stated there had been an issue between neighbors over a dog.

CHILD NEGLECT

• On Oct. 4 officers were contacted by the reporting party who claimed the mother of his childern was probably passed out and not caring for their 1 and 3 year old. The police report stated upon a wellness check, officers found the female unconscious in her home. She was taken to the hospital.

FRAUD

• It was reported to officers on Oct. 4 that the reporting party’s debit card had been used by an unknown suspect to purchase items online.

• On Oct. 4 it was reported that the victim was contacted by phone by an unknown suspect who claimed he had computer issues. The police report stated the victim bought giftcards to pay the suspect for fixing his computer. However, the computer did not have an issues, the report added.

THREATS

• On Oct. 5 officers were contacted regarding threatening jokes make toward Tahoma football players by a juvenile.

ASSAULT

• On Oct. 5 it was reported to officers that a suspect yelled at a 14 year old victim that he would kill her and spit in her face.

• Officers responded Oct. 7 to reports a wife had reportedly punched her husband causing injury.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION

• On Oct. 5 officers responded to the Maple Valley Fred Meyer to reports of subjects doing drugs. The police report stated when they arrived, they subjects were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. One subject was also booked into the Enumclaw Jail for a theft warrant.
