The Greater Maple Valley Unincorporated Area Council to hold its monthly meeting Dec. 5

The Greater Maple Valley Unincorporated Area Council will hold its regular monthly meeting from 7-9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at the Maple Valley Fire Station.

The Greater Maple Valley Unincorporated Area Council will hold its regular monthly meeting from 7-9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at the Maple Valley Fire Station.

Th station is located at Southeast 231st Street and state Route 169 across from the King County Sheriff’s Office precinct station.

The 2012 update of the King County Comprehensive Plan will be discussed.

All members of the public are invited to attend. Comments on the public review draft are due by Dec. 23 to King County.

During the public comment period at the start of each meeting members of the public can address the Area Council on any local issue.

The Area Council is locally elected and represents all unincorporated area residents living in the Tahoma School District as an advisory body to the King County Council.
