Allied Waste Services holds food drive in partnership with Kiwanis of Covington

Allied Waste Services will be collecting food donations for the community during the week of Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 from Covington residents.

Allied Waste Services will be collecting food donations for the community during the week of Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 from Covington residents.

Please set out non-perishable food donations in a bag or box marked “Food Drive” on your garbage service day, next to your garbage can by 6 a.m.

A separate truck will be by to pick up your donation.

Donations may also be brought to the Kiwanis of Covington Hollydaze Events on Dec. 2 and 3.

All food items will be given to the Maple Valley Food Bank to help benefit the community.
