Thanksgiving get together reportedly turned physical | Police Blotter

The following police blotter entries were provided by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

• On Nov. 23 officers saw a vehicle driving without its headlights on when it was dark. The officers pulled the vehicle over and determined the driver had a suspended license.

VEHICLE RECOVERY

• On Nov. 21 it was reported that a stolen vehicle out of Federal Way was found in the Maple Valley Fred Meyer parking lot. The report stated the only damage to the vehicle was a flat front tire.

• On Nov. 24 it was reported that a stolen vehicle out of Renton was found in the parking lot at the Maple Valley Goodwill.

ASSAULT

• On Nov. 24 officers responded to reports that a Thanksgiving get together turned physical. The report stated the disagreement was over parenting styles. The report also stated neither wanted to pursue prosecution.

• On Nov. 25 it was reported that a male subject was arrested on investigation of assault. The report stated the female victim was missing teeth, had a swollen face, sprained pinky and scraped knee. The report stated the male subject had reportedly shoved the female victim causing these injuries.

RECKLESS DRIVING

• On Nov. 25 a driver was pulled over for driving too fast for the road conditions, failing to signal and failing to yield.

THREATS

• On Nov. 17 it was reported to officers that a student wanted to fight another student at I-5 Driving School because the other student was reportedly talking to his girlfriend. The police report stated that when the other student wouldn’t fight, he threatened to kill him.

• On Nov. 18 it was reported that a student had made vague threats to “shoot up” or “blow up” Cedar Heights Middle School after getting into an altercation with another student.
