Anyone in search of a good book at a bargain price should go to the surplus book sale today, Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Tahoma Support Services Center, 23015 SE 216th Way, next to the historic Maple Valley grade school building.
Students and parents can shop from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; public and private schools will shop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and the general public is invited from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Textbooks and library books are being sold, with hardbacks going for $1 each and paperbacks selling for 50 cents each.
