The park is a beautiful ribbon of greenery running through Renton, Kent and Covington that provides wildlife habitat in an otherwise suburban setting. We’ll be removing holly, English ivy and Scotch broom (all invasive species that degrade the park’s wildlife habitats).

Drinks and snacks will be provided, bring your own lunch if you’d like. You’ll need work clothes, gloves and boots and be sure to dress for the weather. Most tools will be provided, although hand pruners may be helpful. Activity will be between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. You can work as little or as much as you like during that time frame. We will meet at the parking lot at the south end of the trail, along 148th Avenue S.E. just off SE 266th Street East of Lake Meridian Park.
