Silent Witnesses exhibit to be unveiled today

With participants from Covington and elsewhere in the south King County area, the Silent Witnesses exhibit – a testament to victims of domestic violence – will be unveiled today during a fund-raising event in support of children and families victimized by abuse.

With participants from Covington and elsewhere in the south King County area, the Silent Witnesses exhibit – a testament to victims of domestic violence – will be unveiled today during a fund-raising event in support of children and families victimized by abuse.

The exhibit’s 33 silhouettes, each with a victim’s story, will be on display at Fort Dent Park in Tukwila beginning at 10 a.m., in conjunction with the Steppin’ Out to Stop Domestic Violence Walkathon. Sponsors include MultiCare Health System, Soundbuilt Homes, YWCA, DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network), King County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and south King County-area organizations such as Covington Domestic Violence Task Force.
