The three-day, professionally judged exhibit of members’ quilts will include vendors, a bed-turning event, “Hugs outreach” quilts-in-progress, demonstrations, a bazaar, a tea room for refreshments, door prizes, fat quarter basket raffle, two quilt raffles, small quilts sale, an “I Spy” game with prizes for the children and a lot of fun for everyone.

Proceeds from the show provide fabric and quilting items needed to support Covington Quilters Guild outreach projects. Since 2005 guild members from Covington, Maple Valley, Kent, Federal Way, Auburn and other locales have donated more than 1,000 handmade quilts to Mary Bridge Children’s Oncology Center, Candlelighters of Western Washington, Valley Medical Center I.C.U. for newborns, Pediatric Interim Care of Kent, Ryther Child Center, Covington Multicare Oncology Center and Vine Maple Place. It is a labor of love by the members.
