Where you can go to see fireworks shows and cities' policies on discharging fireworks

Black Diamond

Lake Sawyer Community Club is putting on a fireworks show over the lake. The show starts at 10 p.m., July 4. The best place for the public to watch is at the boat launch on the lake.

Lake Meridian Park

The celebration will begin at 12 p.m., July 4 and will end at 10:30 p.m. after the fireworks show. The fireworks show will be at 10 p.m.

Parking is available at Kent Fire Station 75, Kentwood High School and Meridian Elementary. Free shuttle  buses to the park will run every 20 minutes to Lake Meridian.

Lake Wilderness Park

The festivities, which includes food, music and games, will begin at 4 p.m. and the fireworks will start at 10 p.m. along with the Maple Valley Youth Symphony’s music.

Maple Valley

Fireworks are allowed to be discharged in Maple Valley on July 4 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Covington

Fireworks are allowed to be discharged in Covington on July 4 between 9 a.m. and midnight.

Black Diamond

Fireworks are allowed to be discharged in Black Diamond on July 4 between 9 a.m. and midnight.

Unincorporated King County

Fireworks are allowed to be discharged in areas of unincorporated King County on July 4 between 9 a.m. and midnight.
