State Route 18. Firefighters and emergency personnel responded to a car that had driven into a swamp-marsh area off the state Route 18 eastbound ramp at about 10 a.m. When units arrived they found a senior woman in the car with minor injuries. The car was 30 feet in knee deep water, mud and weeds.

Black Diamond-Ravensdale Road. at 3 a.m. officers were dispatched to a residence along the Black Diamond-Ravensdale Road for a report of a rock thrown through a woman’s window. Upon arrival officers saw a large rock that was thrown from the rear of the residence into her bedroom window. Officers processed the scene for evidence and the case is currently under investigation.

Someone drove a car through the victim’s front yard in the Springhaven neighborhood, damaging the grass and landscaping. Several neighbors have reportedly experienced similar vandalism in the past few weeks “and are getting frustrated and concerned that this keeps happening,” according to the police report.
