ANIMAL PROBLEM

• On Sept. 26 officers were called to a restaurant for reports of a dog bite.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

• On Sept. 26 officers investigated a 911 hang up call. Once they arrived at the location, they reported hearing a female voice yell “get out, get out right now!”

• On Sept. 28 officers were called to reports of a son threatening to get his machete in an attempt to calm a heated argument. The police report stated the machete never came into play and no one was hurt or directly threatened.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE

• On Sept. 27 officers responded to Covington Elementary School to reports of an out of control student attempting to leave campus.

TRESPASS

• On Sept. 22 officers were called to the Covington McDonald’s where a male subject was trespassed. According to the police report, he was trespassed for loitering and suspected drug activity.

• On Sept. 29 officers were called to Carl’s Jr. where a subject was verbally trespassed for a year due to suspected heroin use in the bathroom. According to the police report, the same subject had been trespassed from McDonald’s last week.

ASSAULT

• On Sept. 23 officers were called to Cedar Valley Elementary School for reports that a student brought a homemade slingshot to school. The report stated, the student shot it at two others causing injury.

EMBEZZLEMENT

• On Sept. 27 it was reported that a manager at Wal-Mart had embezzled more than $11,000 from the registers in two months. Once confronted by loss prevention, the subject confessed to the theft. They were booked into the Regional Justice Center.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS

• On Sept. 27 officers responded to reports that a male subject had reportedly pounded on a neighbors door in violation of a court order.
