Families, friends as well as faculty came together Saturday afternoon at ShoWare Center in Kent to celebrate the class of 2012's graduation from Kentlake High.

Families, friends as well as faculty came together Saturday afternoon at ShoWare Center in Kent to celebrate the class of 2012’s graduation from Kentlake High.

English teacher Sam Lessard presented the staff speech while Haeley Dyrdahl, Mitchell Krassin and Beatrice Wambui provided speeches from the perspective of the 406 graduates which had much to be proud about including four students who had 4.0 cumulative GPAs.

In addition, students were able to celebrate countless college credits earned, more than $3.7 million in scholarship money awarded, award-winning dramatic productions and musicians, exceptional athletes and more as they turned their tassels after accepting their diplomas.
