Maple Valley man beaten and flat-screen TV taken by two suspects

A man was robbed and beaten at his home in the 22100 block of S.E. 227th St. in Maple Valley at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8.

A man was robbed and beaten at his home in the 22100 block of S.E. 227th St. in Maple Valley at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8.

According to Sgt. John Urquhart, spokesman for the King County Sheriff’s Office, the 42-year-old homeowner was beaten up by two suspects. The man was treated and released from a nearby hospital.

The suspects stole the man’s flat screen TV and left in a teal Suburban driven by a female.

The suspects are described to be in their late 20’s or early 30s, one Asian and one African-American.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspects were expected by the victim. The suspects were supposed to pick up some personal possessions left by a tenant who moved about a week earlier after a falling out.
