Kentwood High School is hosting a “College Application Event” on Wednesday, Dec. 4. High school seniors are invited to this free event for help with their college applications. Seniors interested in applying to community, technical, and four-year colleges are welcome.

College representatives and writing tutors will be available for support. Students will have free access to computers, printers, and the internet.

“We’re committed to preparing our students for success in the 21st century,” said Superintendent Edward Lee Vargas. “By providing this extra opportunity for college success, we can help prepare them for the rest of their careers. We want to help students, regardless of their background, to create their own paths to success.”

Add something about equity of access and how we are serious about creating a viable path to success for each and every student etc.

The College Application Event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Kentwood library.
