After the death of his grandfather, Frederick is forced to leave his frigid fiancéElizabeth, played by sophomore Madeline Payment and junior Morgan Thompson, and travel to Transylvania to settle the estate, where he discovers a yodeling lab assistant, senior Mackenzie Visser and junior Olivia Powers, and an intriguing experiment to re-animate the dead.

The school recommends that although the lyrics have been adapted for its high school cast, the material is not suitable for those 13 and younger.
