Fifth graders host Veterans Day assembly

Veterans are invited to celebrate their service at home and those who served overseas by attending Glacier Park Elementary School’s Veteran’s Day Assembly.

The school’s fifth grade classes is hosting the assembly at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 in the Glacier Park Elementary gymnasium. All veterans are invited to attend the assembly and a follow-up reception. Parents of fifth grade students are also invited to watch the assembly.

The assembly will include a slideshow and local veterans or their families are invited to submit photos for the slideshow. To submit a photo go to http://bit.ly/GPEslideshow.

The assembly is free but Glacier Park Elementary School staff ask those who plan to attend to let them know in advance by visiting http://bit.ly/GPERSVP.
